GC The Nature Trail's Bear Holland Lop Broken Black Tortoiseshell Senior Buck
The next week, Bear was Best of Variety and picked up two legs at Mocksville, NC. The judge especially commented on his top line.
The next show, at four and one-half months old, Bear was
Best of Breed for the Holland Lop specialty show at the PA State
Convention and picked up three more legs.
At his next show, Bear picked up his second Best of Breed and went on to be selected Best Reserve in Show in Chatsworth, GA! His leg count was up to seven. The judge especially liked his thick, stubby front feet. I'm so glad that Bear is full in the hindquarter. So often when you get a nice head, you lose the hindquarter. I do hope that Bear develops some shoulder width as he grows. I'm looking forward to seeing this bunny grow up.
Bear came in second many, many times before he finally won his senior leg with a BOB. I would like to get a tenth leg on him sometime, but other than that, his main job now is the sire fantastic offspring.
Bear now lives with Alison Fulbright at
The Holland Farm. |
