My First Best Of Breed Win BBF's Yankee Doodle Dandy Wins BOB Three Times In One Day

Shortly before this show, I had shown Dandy in Perry, GA. He had come in second twice in a class of about 25 solid senior bucks. It was frustrating to be so close and yet so far!
It snowed the day of this show, which did restrict the competition. But since I had never had a BOB, regardless of the situation, I was thrilled to get it. Dandy had over 20 legs at the time. I knew he was a quality rabbit, so it was nice to see him get some recognition. He went on to get three BOBs that day.
Since I had never won a BOB, I was not very good at getting my rabbit onto the BIS show table. I actually missed the middle show. I was surprised by the awards that he won. I just wasn't use to getting anything at rabbit shows. But it was a lot of fun.
Dandy now has 27 legs, 14 of which are Best of Breeds.
