Rabbit Pictures of My BIS Rabbits

Where's a camera when you need one? I was just chatting away with friends when Java was announced as BIS. And I didn't have my camera with me. Darn.

Java's first leg was first place solid junior buck at Holland Lop Nationals. His second leg was Best In Show. I can't wait to see how he will grand out. He was just 6 months old when he won the Best In Show! It was his first senior leg.

May won my second BIS on August 6, 2005. Actually, it was August 7 because it was just after midnight at the Charleston Fancy Rabbit Breeders Association show in Ladson, SC. May was in great condition, especially considering the July and August heat. Her hindquarter was so full, it was a joy to feel. It was so much fun to be able to add an "s" to the title of this page!

The Nature Trail's Rio won my first BIS in Columbia, SC, on April 23, 2005. Since Rio was a junior and this was only his second leg, I was not expecting the BIS. I had stopped talking to friends just long enough to hear "Holland Lop." I was in shock.

As you can tell, I was very, very happy.

It was even better because the BIS judge was a different judge than the BOB judge. That was two opinions in one show that Rio is something else.

I had no idea that Rio would go on to be BOSV the day after Nationals the very next week. Too bad I didn't enter him in Nationals.
