Holland Lop - GC The Nature Trail's Jamillia Evita is part of a linebreeding project. She was one that looked okay when was little but then got prettier as she reached her life as a senior.

I thought she was a blue point when she was tiny, so I didn't give her much thought except for the shame not to have anything to keep from the litter. The other two perished in a feed and water problem that wiped out a huge chunk of my barn. Evita was one of the very, very few that survived from her cohort.

Holland Lop - GC The Nature Trail's Jamillia Of course, I couldn't wait to breed Evita back to Rio, hoping third time would be a charm. But though they went at it like rabbits, there was no breeding. I finally determined that Rio, who was molting, had fur wrapped around his penis, now red and sore. I waited until he was back to normal, but for some reason, he still didn't have interest in breeding with her.

So, I bred her to a Rio son. That will have to do for now. Hopefully, Rio's memory will dim and his interest will revive before it's time to breed her again.
